During your run through the woods on this height, don't forget to go to this viewpoint where you will enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Gruyère.

The ruins of Everdes Castle are all that remains of a medieval fortress built in the 13th century by the lords of Corbières-Vuippens, who were involved in a feud with the towns of Friborg and Bern. The castle did not last long as it was destroyed by fire in 1348 and today only a fragment of its southern surrounding wall remains.

This small pond is located in the Gurles region, which is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. You can admire views of the pond and surrounding forest, and perhaps spot birds or other wildlife.
