A really big and magical park! There are many rabbits that are friendly to people. There is also a pond with ducks and nutria. Unfortunately you can see the devastation caused by the various floods between May 2023 and November 2024. The park is also suitable for jogging and there are some sports equipment.

In 2023, the redevelopment work on the oldest part of the gardens was completed, on the Piazzale della Vittoria side, the fountains were restored, the paths and flowerbeds were arranged, eliminating the state of degradation of recent years. There is currently construction on the duck pond, so it is empty of water. I would also add that near the Viale Spazzoli entrance there is a kiosk offering bar and piadina service.

Designed in 1816 by the architect L. Mirri, it underwent numerous alterations over the years but the original layout bore a typically Enlightenment imprint. ... In 1928 the garden was completely redone by the engineer G. Santarelli. ... Today the park has numerous entrances but two are the main ones, one in viale Spazzoli and one in piazzale della Vittoria. At this second entrance, the municipality has activated a daily free bicycle rental service which can be accessed freely by showing a document and leaving a small deposit. There is also a library in the new part entering from via Spazzoli. The part of the garden adjacent to via Spazzoli has a small lake in the center where it is possible to admire numerous species of ducks, swans and fish. Near the entrance there is a bronze statue depicting Primo Carnera, while further on, a monument to the victims of the Nazi concentration camps and in all prisons. Entering from Piazzale della Vittoria, however, you can see the bust of Giuseppe Gaudenzi, mayor and deputy of Forlì, who was the founder and first secretary of the Italian Republican Party.
