Start at the municipality of Villa Feraldi. Parking spaces are signposted beforehand. Beautiful climb, sturdy shoes and surefootedness required. Once you reach the top, you can see the entire Gulf of Genoa and high mountains (the Maritime Alps?). Descent through dense oak forest, using poles is easy on the knees ;-) In the hot summer months 7/8 not recommended as it faces south.

Testico is a small town in the province of Savona. The climb that leads to Testico is popular with cycle tourists and is often part of the Laigueglia Trophy, a famous professional race.

Municipality in the province of Savona which has around 200 inhabitants, Testico is located on the ridge that divides the two valleys of the Merula and Lerrone streams. The name seems to derive from Testagus, the hill on which the Romans built the first Testagi castrum. Of particular interest is the parish church of Saints Peter and Paul, which houses a valuable 16th century altarpiece by Lazzaro Tavarone. The climb that leads from Andora to Testico has been one of those included in the Trofeo Laigueglia race for professionals for years and the Gran Fondo Laigueglia also passes through here.

From the hamlet of Castelli di Garlenda it is possible to walk up to the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Guardia in Alassio. There is a small car park just before the end of the paved road beyond which the dirt road on the Sentiero Liguria begins
