The trail follows the Roman Via Julia Augusta and crosses the Sciusa River at several points with well-preserved ancient stone bridges. The trail then leads to ancient Roman quarries, natural caves, sport climbing routes, and the site known as Ciappa del Sale, which features ancient glyphs and rock carvings.
