Waterfall within the Gran Sasso Monti della Laga area. Spectacular and reachable with a nice walk from Bosco Martese.

In spring and summer the waterfall is full of water. The route immersed in the Martese forest, among beech and fir trees, is very pleasant. The waterfall in the summer period is worth a bath in costume.

The historic center of Amatrice was unfortunately destroyed by the 2016 earthquake. Part of the town was rebuilt in a modern way using wood as the main material. Not to be missed, at the end of summer, is the festival of the famous spaghetti all'amatriciana, a delicacy known throughout the world which finds its maximum expression here!

Beautiful glimpse of Northern Pelone Mountain, Monti della Laga and Valle Castellana.

The Morricana waterfall is 40 meters high and is the highest waterfall in the Monti della Laga park. Immersed in a forest of silver firs and beech trees, the best times to come and admire it are autumn or spring.

Nice spot to enjoy Corno Grande and Pizzo di Intermesoli in the distance.

Immersed in the secular beech forest, you can enjoy the sound of the numerous waterfalls of different sizes that form the Fosso dell'Acero. Here and there artificial pools form where you can dip your feet.

The iron bridge is located inside a large beech forest, a typical species of the Apennines. Some of the beech trees are particularly tall and have huge roots.
