The fountain temple at Schwarzwald Sprudel is a drinking fountain in the center of Bad Peterstal-Griesbach where you can fill up on fresh mineral water free of charge. The fountain serves as a meeting point for hikers and cyclists who want to refresh themselves and refill their water bottles. It is located directly in front of Schwarzwald-Sprudel's headquarters and is the starting point of the Panoramawegle, a four-kilometer premium walking trail that explains how rainwater is transformed into mineral water.

The surface isn't the best, especially on the descent into the Heubach Valley, where there are a lot of fairly deep transverse cracks. In the Heubach Valley itself, the surface is excellent.

Very beautiful old town, unfortunately a lot of traffic, the main street runs right through it. Nevertheless, there are a few cafés that invite you to take a break.

If you want to ride the Griesbacher Steige, I recommend doing it as early as possible on the weekend. Sometimes there is heavy motorcycle and car traffic!! Your guide Werner

The Kinzigtal cycle path is approx. 95 km long from Freudenstadt to Offenburg. Most of it leads along its own, separate cycle paths and only includes a few short sections in busy town thoroughfares, which are ideal for taking a break with bistros, cafés, ice cream parlors and restaurants.
