In cathedrals, it's easy to get lost in the details. One could even argue whether this always has something to do with faith. I myself am always very impressed by the means by which these works of art were created, over many generations. I particularly liked the windows of this cathedral. I was fortunate that the sun was shining during my visit, allowing the colorful windows to shine in their full radiance.

The sacred building is very simple on the outside, like many Protestant churches. On the inside, however, it is very magnificent. The church is painted with numerous frescoes and you should definitely take some time to discover this splendor and take in the effect it has on you.

If the weather is good, definitely go up there. Depending on the position of the sun, you can see really far in one direction or the other. The direct view of the Neckar Valley (towards the A81/Neckarburg) is also great.
