A wonderful clearing where we can find wild cattle grazing. There are many varieties of beautiful flowers to admire (and please do not pick!) From here we begin the climb to the wonderful peak of Monte Gennaro

The paved road will allow you to reach an acceptable altitude to tackle the Monti Lucertola and challenge Monte Gennaro. The split mountain is the entrance to the park from the San Polo dei Cavalieri side.

From the split mountain the path is direct and well placed. The most difficult but still suggestive part is the stony path in the woods and the immensity of the forest that dominates it.

Suggestive to say the least, very low grass and populated by cows and horses. An excellent refreshment point before the summit!

Pratone landmark. Unfortunately for the conditions in which it concerns, full of manure and plastic.

Path to Pratone and Monte Gennaro, very well laid out and easy to follow. The path to Mount Morra is currently closed by a gate so conditions are uncertain. In the woods, pay attention to the path called "L Uva Spina" which connects the meadow to the Falicchio meadow. It is very well marked with BLUE CIRCLES rather than the classic white and red trail markers.
