A beautiful stretch... The Bocholt Aa Cycle Path is a 58 km long cycle path that runs along the Bocholt Aa River from Velen to Isselburg. It connects the towns of Velen, Borken, Rhede, Bocholt, and Isselburg. The path is well-developed, runs through flat landscapes, and is part of the "Achterhoek and Westmünsterland River Landscape" cycle route. The cycle path offers a varied route through historic town centers, sights, country inns, and cafés. In Velen, you can visit Velen Moated Castle and the Tiergarten park; in Borken, you can visit the medieval town towers and Gemen Moated Castle; in Rhede, you can visit the town center with its restaurants; and in Bocholt, you can find the town center, the LWL Textile Museum, and Lake Aasee. In Isselburg, there is a high ropes course, canoe tours, and Anholt Moated Castle with its museum and art collection.
