The two "rivers" are the Salzach and the Königsseeache. In the Ache, you can cool off in the shallow waters along the gravel path.

The Königsseeache, as the Berchtesgadener Ache is called in Austria, comes from the southeastern tip of Bavaria, crosses the border at Hangendenstein, which belongs to Grödig, and flows into the Salzach a good five kilometers further on at Hallein-Rif.

Across the road from the alpine pasture is a game reserve with wild animals. I don't know if they're served on the plate at the alpine pasture, but the animals were very relaxed.
