At the entrance to the historic center of the town, on the SP 35, is the statue of San Francesco di Paola, made of bronze and resting on a stone base. It represents the patron saint of Calabria and of seafarers, with open arms as a sign of welcome and blessing.

San Benedetto Ullano is located at the foot of the Sant'Elia hill and dominates the Crati valley. Among the monuments to visit are the churches of San Benedetto Abate, the Virgin Mother, San Rocco and San Giovanni Battista and in the mountain area there is the Laghicello, a small natural lake surrounded by a beech forest.

Cerisano is a town in the province of Cosenza, at the foot of the Serre Cosentine. In the historical center it is possible to visit the Palazzo Sersale and the Church of San Lorenzo Martire, patron saint of the town.

The Rendano theater of Cosenza is the municipal theater of the city, dedicated to the musician Alfonso Rendano. It is located in the historic center and was inaugurated in 1909 with Verdi's Aida. It has a horseshoe-shaped hall with more than 800 seats and hosts performances of various genres.

In ancient times it was the capital of the Bruzi, an Italic population that opposed the Romans, and it was also the favorite seat of Frederick II of Swabia, who built a castle with polygonal towers there.
