Lady Wimborne Bridge is a notable historical structure built in 1853 as part of the railway expansion into the area. This Grade II-listed bridge showcases an ornate design that reflects the influence of landowners during the mid-19th century. Although it hasn't hosted trains since 1979 it remains an important landmark, now serving as a walking path that connects to the scenic surroundings​

Studland Bay is dominated by one of the south coast's most famous landmarks - Old Harry. It is part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site and is managed by the National Trust. The chalk formations are popularly known as Old Harry Rocks, but the name Old Harry actually refers to the single chalk rock that stands furthest out to sea. Amazing views, but be careful if heights are not your thing. You can look directly down off the cliffs, and in most places there is no areas of safety. just straight to the sea or rocks below.

Swans, Ducks and ducklings everywhere you look. Don't get too close to ducklings or you'll meet an angry Duck parent!

One of the largest remaining areas of heathland in Dorset. The 344 hectares of Canford Heath are a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest. Careful management of the heath is needed to stop other plant life blocking out the heather on which the local wildlife relies. Parking There is limited parking on roads near this reserve. Dogs Dogs must be on a short lead when livestock is near and during the bird breeding season from 1 March to 31 July. At other times dogs must be under close control. Habitats Broad-leaf woodland, dry and wet heath and valley mire and bog. Look out for Dragonflies, damselflies, Dartford warblers, nightjars and all six species of British reptile.

Canford Heath is the largest area of lowland heath in the UK. It's a SSSI and hosts all the native reptiles and other species like the Dartford Warbler. There are lots of nice walking trails around the heath.

Lodge Hill at 70 m is the highest point on Canford Heath. Great views across the heath and south over Bournemouth.

Hamworthy Park is an open space of grassland and beach on the edge of Poole Harbour.

Upton Country Park is a free 160-acre area of garden and parkland which includes a section of the Holes Bay Poole Harbour Trail. It used to be the estate of Upton House, a grade II listed Georgian mansion.

The walled garden is open from 9am to 6pm daily. It's a lovely space with well managed borders and beds plus some space to sit on the grass and enjoy a break. The Tea Room terrace overlooks the garden.

Old Harry Rocks are three sea stacks that mark the eastern end of the Jurassic Coast. It's a stunning landmark and a wonderful place to walk.

Enjoy a serene stretch of walking along the River Stour which flows through Wiltshire and Dorset in southern England.

Baiter Park is a gorgeous waterfront area featuring a wide open green space in Poole, Dorset. There are some great views over the glistening Parkstone Bay toward Lilliput and the Sandbanks Peninsula.
