There are four farm shops here to stock up on local produce. The Heidelberg wood-fired oven bakery in the north-eastern part currently has the following opening times: Wednesdays to Fridays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. In the west of the Kurpfalzhof there is a former American housing estate: The Patrick-Henry-Village. Good view there from the hill north of here.

At the eastern entrance to the Kurpfalzhof is the Heidelberg wood-fired bakery, which is particularly recommended for its quality. However, the passage on the bumpy cobblestone road is a bit uncomfortable for the cyclist.
