Here, a small hut with a fountain and seating invites you to rest – perfect for a break with a view.

This is not the Schluchsee as mentioned above, but the Wehratalsperre or Wehra-stausee

The view here is truly wonderful, especially at sunset. You can see the Jura Mountains, Basel, and the Rhine Valley (and probably the Alps in clear weather).

Here in the protected forest, the only thing that's kept in mind is that the paths are clear; otherwise, the trail is left to its own devices. It's truly beautiful to look at, but it should also be enjoyed with caution. You should concentrate hard while walking.
