The veterans and reservists association planted a peace linden tree in the center of the village in memory of the fallen and missing from the two world wars.

The Pechbrunn crossing guard's house is still standing. But since the construction of the eastern bypass in 1998, there has been no more level crossing in Pechbrunn. The train station has also disappeared; it was demolished in 2019. The Pechbrunn train station was known as the "crazy" train station. In 1900, a loading track for the basalt works was to be built and the line was to be expanded to two tracks. But the existing space between the train station and the basalt works was not enough for this. So, in a sensational operation, the station building was moved by around ten meters. The building was lifted off the old foundation using winches and moved north onto a fresh foundation on eight runways. Numerous onlookers watched this technical feat. This meant that the economic boom associated with the Pechbrunn train station could continue. In September 1993, the sale of tickets was stopped and the ticket office was closed. After that, the "crazy train station" stood empty.

There has been a bocce court in Pechbrunn for a few years now, and the rest area is next to it. The court seems to be hardly used, as grass and weeds are sprouting.

Family-run country inn with its own butcher's shop - now in the third generation. They serve home-style dishes and Bavarian delicacies as well as a wide selection of homemade sausage specialties. The crowds are particularly large on Sunday lunchtimes. In summer there is also a lovely beer garden. Open from Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
