Cycling along the lake shore, a real pleasure on hot summer days

Thematic site of the Chemin des Blés "Wheat, a solar cereal" In the middle of fields, in a region where grain cultivation is a tradition, this terrace with a breathtaking view is topped with a rye thatched roof. From field to construction, the construction of this roof was a year-long adventure. About a hundred volunteers participated in the construction of the 1,000 straw bales that make up the roof. Beautiful forest path directly along Lake Neuchâtel. There are always beautiful swimming areas off the path.

The hike can also be limited to a visit to the Pro Natura Champ-Pittet center and its surroundings on the municipal territory of Cheseaux-Noréaz. Beautiful reed areas, wooden walkways, nature trails and observation towers make a hike an enjoyable stroll. The Pro Natura center (indoor) is only open from March to October.
