Nice beach, easily accessible by bike. Parking available. A food stand too :-)

The orangery is a two-winged building, the roof serves as a terrace, it is located in the axis of the main tower of the castle and is open to the sea. The inner courtyard is planted, to the southeast there is an arcade and the statue of Hercules taming a bull in the middle of the arcade. The palm garden and shell fountain, several accessible roof terraces and the sea grotto are part of the orangery.

Nice path, but as described, very noisy.

A small, dreamy island with seating for lovers 💏

Rethberg is a small island in the Schwerin Outer Lake in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It is located around 600 meters from the western shore of the lake, belongs to the area of the municipality of Lübstorf in the Nordwestmecklenburg district[1] and is nicknamed the Love Island[2]. The elongated island, which rises just above the water level, has an area of around 20 ares. Some bushes and trees grow on it, and the island has largely lost the reed belt that once surrounded it.[3]
