Beautiful view of the Sempt river

Absolutely beautiful, right on the Sempt, with several options and opportunities to linger. In the summer it's definitely very nice to go inside. It's worth a visit if you're looking for peace and quiet. Away from the hustle and bustle of the Wiflinger Weiher.

Unfortunately foggy today but otherwise a great view of the mountains.

Sankt Koloman is located above the Sempttal and is a pilgrimage church. The steep climb up from the S-Bahn is definitely worth it.

Idyllic place on the way to Wiflinger Weiher

Due to the channel layout, the watercourse itself is a bit monotonous. However, I really liked the surrounding landscape on this tour, and the route is easy to cycle.

The Sempt is an approximately 46 km long right tributary of the Isar that flows into the Middle Isar Canal between Moosburg and Landshut. The Sempt arises near Ottenhofen from the confluence of the Anzinger Sempt and the shorter Forstinninger Sempt. It is heavily fed by groundwater from the gravel plain, so it is relatively cool in summer, rarely exceeding 17 °C, but it does not freeze in winter. Source: Wikipedia
