Many bikers will likely simply roll past the beautiful crucifix, which presents itself here along with two benches, without paying much attention to the lovingly crafted depiction of the cross – with its gable cross and back wall, the Corpus Christi, and a text plaque. But from my – admittedly purely subjective – perspective, both the panorama and the small sacred monument, which reminds us of the crucified and risen Christ – and thus our hope for our own resurrection and 'eternal life' with God(!) – are certainly worth a short break along the way.

Currently (April 2025), the trail runs directly next to a scaffold (photo) that spans the entire drawbridge. However, you can get past it, and access from the west is also possible.

Wonderful single trail - watch out for pedestrians.

Very nice cycle path between Burgrain and Urtlmühle. Sometimes quite narrow, but always easy to ride and close to nature.

While walking here you can often come across guided alpaca tours. Maybe I'll take part in something like that sometime.
