The old pass road is truly beautiful, but also extremely steep and gravelly. The rocks on the downhill gravel bike were too slippery for me, so I had to push my bike for a bit on the steepest sections to avoid falling.

Hello everyone, The Krinnen Alpe is at 1530m and is easy to reach on foot. Not too steep and with about 450m you can hike up from the Haldensee side in about 1.5 hours The adjacent chairlift has unfortunately been out of service for a long time, which is a shame. Nevertheless, it is great that the mountain hut is very popular and I hope that it continues to be that way. The food is super tasty and inexpensive too. Support the hut and enjoy the view of the valley. Greetings, Marcus

From here you have a great view over the Haldensee. In the foreground you can see Haller and on the other side of the bank the village of Haldensee. You can also swim in the lake.
