The park stretches along the upper slopes of the 835-meter-high Monte Pescia, extending considerably in length and height over approximately 200,000 square meters. It offers a wealth of flowers, shrubs, and trees, as well as a wealth of art objects. In addition, there are repeated magnificent views of Lake Lugano and the opposite mountain ranges to the east, with Monte Generoso as the highest peak. To the west, there are magnificent views of the Valais Alps, including the Monte Rosa massif.

Very worth seeing park directly on the lake

A hodgepodge of diverse exhibits: Greek, Indian, Oriental, modern—a bit of everything. But definitely worth seeing and interesting.

The hike to the top of San Salvatore offers breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Lugano, the surrounding mountains and even the Alps on a clear day. The trail is well marked and, although steep at times, the panoramic views from the top are well worth it, making it a fantastic hike for nature lovers looking for a memorable experience.

Above Morcote you’ll find a stunning viewpoint over Lake Lugano, where turquoise water meets lush, rolling hills and charming villages dot the shore. From this elevated vantage point, the landscape unfolds in every direction, with the sparkling lake set against the dramatic backdrop of the Italian-Swiss mountains.
