The Orbe (German formerly Orbach) is the 67 km long, left and western source river of the Thielle (German Zihl) in the Jura department in France and in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. Below Vallorbe is a barrage of the Orbe. The only tributary worth mentioning, the Jougnena, flows in here from the left. At this bridge the sign says Orbe Gorge right bank but this is coming from direction Vallorbe (not Orbe), so can be confusing...

Close to that point you can find a unlimited parking (at the moment I write this highlight). You have a small ascend to do and you are at the train station or near the center. The best way is anyway to walk along the river.
