The Lahn hiking trail is very well signposted, but not easy. While the climb to Kuxlay from Nassau on stage 18 was an exhausting start, the view was worth all the effort.

The castle towers over the city. The climb is not easy as the road surface is bad, but the descent is fun

Not far from the Kuxlay lookout point, this bench is located near a stamp box for the Lahn hiking trail. You have almost the same view from here as from Kuxlay. And if you are coming from the direction of Nassau, you deserve a break and a stamp after the steep climb.

Personally, I believe that the Kuxlay is located a little further up the Lahn.

From the tower there is a great all around view. In the courtyard you can eat coffee and cake. But hearty dishes are also available. So the way up there is worth it😊

Very nice view from the keep. A small but informative exhibition on the history of Nassau Castle is located in the keep. The ascent on the very narrow stairs is rewarded with a wonderful panoramic view. The restaurant in the castle building is open between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The kitchen delivers tasty, hearty and rich dishes. Attention, many restaurants will be closed from mid-October!
