狭い道は、豊かな混交林を蛇行し、根、小さなカーブ、変化に富んだ路面を持つ自然のままの区間を抜けていきます。静かで原始的な森の風景に深く入り込むような感覚を生み出します。

静かに過ごし、活力を充電するには、メルティンゲンにある「シュムッターグリーン」レクリエーションエリアはかなり完璧な場所です。 町の端の近くに2つの湖が造られました。1つは泳ぐための大きな景観湖、もう1つは冬に深さ80cmまで凍るとスケートが楽しめる小さな浅い湖です。 田園風景が広がる小道は散策に誘い、自然のベンチは立ち止まってリラックスするのに最適です。 「水」をテーマにしたアート作品を備えた小さくて洗練されたクネーペ施設と、屋外フィットネスコースが、レジャー施設を調和的に補完しています。

敷地内にある特大の木製ベンチ（いわゆるXXLベンチ）です。大人が座ると子供のように足が宙に浮くほど大きく作られており、楽しい記念写真にぴったりの場所です。
