A fantastic highlight of the tour. The path leads from the top, practically through the castle ruins, down to the pond :-)

And another correction: Open Tuesday to Sunday. In summer from 11 a.m., and from Tuesday to Friday at lunchtime, there's a changing daily special in addition to the small menu. New tenant, highly recommended!

The temporary terminus of the Schättere line is a great success. The association members are doing a tremendous job. A member of the association explained to me during a conversation that the railway will be extended to the former station in Dischingen. The station in Dischingen is also owned by the museum association.

There's a lot to discover in Dischingen: the village square, the newly renovated church, Thurn and Taxis Castle, the English forest with its old shooting range and an old hermitage, a beautifully landscaped Kneipp facility, and much more.
