カスターニョラとガンドリアの間にあるこの美しい湖畔の小道（「Sentiero di Gandria」）は、散策に最適です。自転車での利用は（道がかなり狭く、ガンドリアの手前にはかなりの長さの階段があるため）お勧めしません。カスターニョラの（小さな！）駐車場からガンドリアの駐車場までは約1600mです。 散策は、船旅（例：ガンドリアからルガーノへ戻る、またはその逆）と組み合わせることができます（時刻表：https://www.lakelugano.ch/de）。 カスターニョラのスタート地点のすぐ手前には、湖畔に美しい小さな公園があるヴィラ・ヘレナムがあります。 スタートから約250m進むと、ルガーノのプールの一つ、リド・サン・ドメニコに到着します。そこには小さな芝生の遊泳エリアがあります（情報と料金：https://www.lugano.ch/vivere-lugano/cultura-e-tempo-libero/lidi-e-piscine/lido-san-domenico/）。 ほぼ中間地点（カスターニョラのスタートから700m）には、公衆トイレと飲料水の噴水があります。さらに数メートル進むと、湖畔にテラス席のあるレストランElveziaがあり、定期船の停留所（「Grotto Elvezia」）があります。 カスターニョラのスタートから最初の1200mは平坦で、湖面からわずか数メートルの高さにあります。1200m過ぎ、ガンドリアの村のすぐ手前で、長い階段を上ります。階段の上からは、湖の素晴らしい景色が楽しめ、背景にはモンテ・サン・サルヴァトーレ（手前にはサボテン）が見えます。 目的地であるガンドリアは、見る価値のある教会、多くの狭い路地や階段、湖の見えるテラス席のあるレストランがいくつかある美しい村で、定期船の停留所もあります。

Great old village with lots of old houses and narrow winding streets. No traffic, only accessible on foot. Highly recommended is the beautiful footpath along the lake.

Gandria is a pretty village on the shores of Lake Lugano. The village has very ancient origins and once lived on fishing and olive oil production. This is no longer the case, but today you can still admire the marina and residential buildings from the 16th and 17th centuries.

Thanks to its location between mountain and lake, its village center with its many arcades, its churches and chapels, and a park that is like a small paradise, Morcote deserves the title “Pearl of Ceresio”. It lies on the southern nose of the Arbostora peninsula. Once a fishing village, it soon became a popular place for artists and celebrities; magnificent buildings such as the Palazzo Paleari with its stucco facade or the Torre del Capitano bear witness to these times. Also known is the “monumental staircase”, which leads up around 400 steps to Santa Maria del Sasso - another must for Morcote visitors - from where there is a magnificent view. The adjacent cemetery is also in an enviable location and is considered an outstanding example of sacred funerary art. Morcote's exotic attraction is called “Parco Scherrer”. Subtropical vegetation and works of art from distant countries transport visitors to another world.

Porto Ceresio belongs to the province of Varese on Lake Lugano, and was made famous as an internationally renowned center of craftsmanship and art. Very inhabited and busy city, but worth a passing visit.
