One of four mills in Beiseförth. The others are called Weizenmühle (village square), Grüneismühle, and Obere Mühle.

The Beisenberg mountain hut is located on the Be3 and Be4 hiking trails. The two trails diverge at this hut. The Be3 leads to the Beisenberg, while the Be4 leads to the Beisengrund and the Grüneismühle.

The Art and Culture Mill is located on the Old Village Square and was formerly a wheat mill. It is one of four mills in Beiseförth.

The railway line from Bebra to Kassel (opened in 1948) crosses the Fulda River with a 90-meter-long, seven-arched sandstone bridge. A beautiful structure from the early days of the railway in northern Hesse.

Beiseförth was once a village known for its basket-making craft. The basket-maker statue serves as a reminder of this. Not far away is the Basket-Making Museum, which is open to groups upon request. A lovely rest area with a water treading pool is located directly on the Mill Cycle Path. The Fairytale Mill is opposite.
