The stele commemorates the great fire in Gingst in 1950.

One of a total of five ponds in the Pansevitz park, its rectangular shape can be completely circumnavigated. The well-maintained path is lined with avenue trees. The so-called "North Avenue" leads you directly there, is densely leafy in summer, provides pleasant shade, and creates a very special atmosphere.

The two buildings of the historic craftsmen's workshops (Kremkehaus and Ifeuhaus) are part of the Gingst Museum Farm complex, which is complemented by other buildings and an inner courtyard. The complex also includes a studio, a blacksmith's shop, an open-air stage, and the museum café. It is normally open three days a week (Thursday to Saturday) between May and the end of October. Various events, markets, guided tours, and painting courses take place here throughout the season, enlivening the place. The "Green Market" on Saturdays also features fresh bread from the stone oven – delicious!

The tourist information office is located in the old parish house and also houses a small national park exhibition.

An outdoor self-service café. Absolutely peaceful location, nestled in a beautifully landscaped and spacious garden with views across meadows and water all the way to Stralsund. Homemade, truly delicious cakes and tarts. Open only during the summer months between May and October.

The only Protestant church in Ummanz dates back to the 14th century.

Solid and spacious rest area, covered shelter, and next to it a table and benches outside, including a view of the water. Also popular as a meeting place for picnics.

Upscale bistro with plenty of space and small cold and warm dishes and home-made cakes, as well as a small shop in the old parish barn. Stylishly renovated building, very nice view of the water through the panoramic windows. The owner creates a feel-good atmosphere all year round - in winter there is also an armchair by the fireplace.
