The contrast between the massive stone and the peaceful green of the surroundings underlines the melancholy atmosphere. Here you can pause and, in the silence, absorb the universal tragedy of war and violence. It is a place of reflection that is often lacking in today's hectic world, and I find it particularly moving how this stone enables a collective remembrance for all victims.

Surrounded by lush trees and thick reeds, the pond offers a natural oasis that can be explored on a leisurely stroll. The gentle rippling of the water, the play of light and shadow on the water's surface and the tranquil atmosphere create a peaceful retreat away from everyday life. In spring and summer, the area is a vibrant habitat for birds and other wildlife that find food and shelter here.
