The Bantiger summit bike ride is a rewarding ride that offers stunning views of Bern, the Aare and the distant Alps. The climb takes you through the charming Swiss countryside, passing fields, farms and patches of forest. At the top, you will find a panoramic viewpoint, ideal for catching your breath and admiring the impressive scenery.

The center of Frienisberg is a worthwhile place to linger and enjoy your picnic. You can also eat in the restaurant or have a coffee and something sweet. The history of the monastery and its current function are interesting!

Frienisberg is a small village in Bern, which is particularly characterized by its former monastery. In 1528, the monastery was closed and the complex was used for various purposes over the next few centuries. Today, a residential home for the elderly extends over the entire municipal area.

The castle is a small gem, with - as already described - a beautiful view of the Alpine chain. In front of it there is a nice restaurant with a small "green" garden. Very nice for the biker break in between.
