St. Lubentius Church in Dietkirchen was built as a Romanesque basilica and served as a collegiate church until around 800 AD. Today it is a Roman Catholic church. The relics of St. Lubentius are kept within the church. The Trinity Chapel is the Protestant parish church.

Limburg Castle (also known as Limburg Palace) is located directly behind the cathedral on Cathedral Hill. It was built in the early Middle Ages to secure the crossing of the Lahn River and served as the seat of the counts of the Gau (district). Later, it was expanded into a palace. Today, it houses the city archives and offers an impressive view over the old town.

Grain was traded here in the Middle Ages – hence the name. Today, it's a popular meeting place with cafés, small shops, and the striking "Zum Goldenen Hirsch" (At the Golden Stag) building, a former 16th-century inn with a magnificent oriel window. The square combines medieval charm with vibrant city life and is an ideal starting point for strolls through the old town.

Surrounded by magnificent half-timbered houses and small shops, it exudes medieval charm. Formerly a central trading square, today it invites visitors to linger with its cafes and seating areas.

The Kurt-van-der-Burg Bridge connects Dietkirchen with the opposite bank of the Lahn River and is an important crossing for pedestrians and cyclists. It offers a beautiful view of the Basilica of St. Lubentius, which sits majestically on the rock above the Lahn.
