The Bernex signal is a hill which rises to an altitude of 509 meters. It dominates the Aire plain and offers lovely views of Geneva's Champagne, the Salève and the Jura massif.

This cabin is open for whom wants to camp in the night. In October(when I went there) it was open for the public. Inside is tidy and pretty large. It has a fireplace and an external bbq. This cabin is placed between Le Reculet, Le Grand Crêt and La Crêt de la Neige, and you can enjoy the magic view from the Jura to Switzerland. Ps. Before thinking about sleeping there, I suggest you to call the proper institutions for making sure that the cabin is not locked.

Easy hike with lots of places to stop for a picnic - pretty villages of Avully but especially Cartigny where excellent cheese can be bought from farm and great coffee at the cafe. a couple of nature reserves to walk through also.

This is a chalet in the jura, with bbq and great views over the Geneva lake. You can see the jet d'eau from here. The croix du reculet is 1 hour away. There is a little annex with a rudimentary WC.
