The linden trees stand in a well-maintained meadow and are surrounded by a dense young forest of birch, black alder, and other trees. It creates the effect of a natural colonnade. An information panel tells the story and displays old illustrations, as seen in the photos and described in the other comments.

There is also "Brauns Quelle", which is part of the drinking water supply for the town of Ettersburg and was enclosed in 1893 by the construction of a well house.
