シュトラースブルク（ウッカーマルク）のシェルヒェンシュタインは、新石器時代または青銅器時代（約3500〜5000年前）の重要な考古学的発見です。シェルヒェンシュタイン（シャーレンシュタインまたはカップマークドストーンとも呼ばれる）は、表面に多数の小さなボウル状またはカップ状のくぼみ（「シェルヒェン」またはカップマーク）が施された大きな漂礫岩（巨石）です。これらの石は、先史時代の儀式または犠牲行為の証拠と見なされています。このような記念碑は、主に北ドイツとスカンジナビアで知られています。

The Römerberg (122 m high, in other sources 123 or 129 m) you really have to search specifically, a small hill left of the path, without signposting and labeling. A spectacular entry into the "summit book" is therefore part of the ascent ... How the "Römerberg" got its name could not be answered even by an Internet search. However, the table of contents of a legendary book hinted that at least one legend revolves around the mountain. Unfortunately, the actual legend was not found on the net, so that the question of the origin of the name remains open at this point. Maybe someone else can help?
