Beautifully landscaped garden with numerous paths and seating areas. For strolling, chatting, or simply enjoying the scent of the flowers and the sunshine.

Since 1997, physician, researcher, and artist Claus-Frenz Claussen, known as the "Iron Sculptor of Eisenbühl," ran the Iron Park, a freely accessible open-air exhibition of 222 iron and steel sculptures, predominantly with a mythological theme. Claussen gave form to these heavyweights, weighing up to 14 tons. The park was expanded in 2001. The Iron Park remains open even after Claussen's death in 2022.

Originally established in 1912 for natural history classes at Hof schools, the Botanical Garden is part of the Theresienstein (Theresienstein) complex. The garden is divided into two large areas: the geometrically designed Rosarium with its medicinal plant area, and the more landscaped area with its alpine garden, water lily pond, shade area, and extensive areas of magnificent perennials. The tranquility and floral splendor of the Botanical Garden is available to all visitors free of charge.

A very successful highlight.

You have to have a lot of imagination to see what a modern work of art is actually supposed to represent, even if the signs actually tell you what it is supposed to be. A matter of taste, but kudos to the artist...he really seems to enjoy his work when you look at the amount of sculptures. Personally, I like a hamster cage or a beaver den better.

There is so much to discover, the sculptures are often very detailed. Almost all sculptures are titled and provided with a QR code. Prof. Dr. Claus-Frenz Claussen, who was a respected ENT doctor and artist, passed away in 2022.
