ヴァイトハウゼンベイコーブルクの天然記念物・トップ20

Not only traces of the Celtic era can be found on the "Korches," as it is called by the locals, but rare plants such as the Kordigast whitebeam are also native here. From its plateau, the Grosser Kordigast offers, on a clear day, distant views as far as the Franconian Forest and the Fichtel Mountains. Family-friendly hiking trails lead along the "Schlauwienix" nature trail to the popular "Spielwienix" adventure playground.

It's a bit hidden

A beautiful hiking trail located in the forest. Also suitable for children, as the tour is not that long and, with several rocks that can be found along the way, also invites them to play and linger. You don't notice anything of the 270 meters in altitude (which the app calculated for me). The route is also popular with bikers, and there were a few on it yesterday.

We went there today because all rivers are flooding and it is really wet at the moment, thought the waterfall would also have a lot of water, but it was within limits. Of course, it was worth it anyway, and I definitely have to go again during a period of frost.

The Große Kordigast, 538 with, is a mountain with a wonderful view of the Rhön, Coburg Land, Franconian Forest, Franconian Jura and Fichtel Mountains. There are many hikers here in the afternoon, now at 10 o'clock in the morning I'm up here all alone. There is also a summit book in the box on the cross.

You can climb up - but you should be sure of walking.

A narrow path which branches off from the main path and which can easily be overlooked then leads to the Holzfrauen Stäffele. Unfortunately there is nothing with a view. Nothing further to be seen.
