マイン川上流域の上に、印象的なバーツェーンヘイリゲン大聖堂がそびえ立っています。ここはフランケン・バロック様式の最も有名な建造物の一つであり、マイン川上流域のゴッテスガルテンにある古典的な三位一体の一部です。 大聖堂のすぐ隣にはフランシスコ会修道院があります。訪問後、フランケン地方の特産品を探しているなら、大聖堂からそれほど遠くない場所にあるトランク醸造所で有名なノートヘルファー・ビアを試すことができます。 リュンケルスからバーツェーンヘイリゲンへは徒歩で簡単にアクセスでき、バスでのアクセスも良好です。大聖堂のすぐ近くには大きな駐車場もあります。 ハイライトであり、ハイキングの目的地としても、マイン川上流域のゴッテスガルテンでの短い立ち寄り先としても最適です。 大聖堂の開館時間： ☀️ 5月～9月：06:30～19:00 ❄️ 10月～4月：07:30～17:00 ご注意：開館時間は必ずしも見学時間と同じではありません。ミサや典礼の最中は、大聖堂は見学できません。また、木曜日には09:00～16:00まで教会の清掃が行われます。（vierzehnheiligen.de）

In the 14th century the city was surrounded by a curtain wall with three gates: the lower or Bamberg gate, the upper or Kronacher gate (both still preserved) and the Mühl or Coburg gate. Of the five defense towers, only the Red Tower remains today.
