カスターニョラとガンドリアの間にあるこの美しい湖畔の小道（「Sentiero di Gandria」）は、散策に最適です。自転車での利用は（道がかなり狭く、ガンドリアの手前にはかなりの長さの階段があるため）お勧めしません。カスターニョラの（小さな！）駐車場からガンドリアの駐車場までは約1600mです。 散策は、船旅（例：ガンドリアからルガーノへ戻る、またはその逆）と組み合わせることができます（時刻表：https://www.lakelugano.ch/de）。 カスターニョラのスタート地点のすぐ手前には、湖畔に美しい小さな公園があるヴィラ・ヘレナムがあります。 スタートから約250m進むと、ルガーノのプールの一つ、リド・サン・ドメニコに到着します。そこには小さな芝生の遊泳エリアがあります（情報と料金：https://www.lugano.ch/vivere-lugano/cultura-e-tempo-libero/lidi-e-piscine/lido-san-domenico/）。 ほぼ中間地点（カスターニョラのスタートから700m）には、公衆トイレと飲料水の噴水があります。さらに数メートル進むと、湖畔にテラス席のあるレストランElveziaがあり、定期船の停留所（「Grotto Elvezia」）があります。 カスターニョラのスタートから最初の1200mは平坦で、湖面からわずか数メートルの高さにあります。1200m過ぎ、ガンドリアの村のすぐ手前で、長い階段を上ります。階段の上からは、湖の素晴らしい景色が楽しめ、背景にはモンテ・サン・サルヴァトーレ（手前にはサボテン）が見えます。 目的地であるガンドリアは、見る価値のある教会、多くの狭い路地や階段、湖の見えるテラス席のあるレストランがいくつかある美しい村で、定期船の停留所もあります。

Nice, I had to get off the bike a few times because of the stairs, narrow, you can't pedal through them.

Easy hike with plenty of hikers.

Great old village with lots of old houses and narrow winding streets. No traffic, only accessible on foot. Highly recommended is the beautiful footpath along the lake.

Gandria is a pretty village on the shores of Lake Lugano. The village has very ancient origins and once lived on fishing and olive oil production. This is no longer the case, but today you can still admire the marina and residential buildings from the 16th and 17th centuries.

San Mamete is a splendid village perched on top of a hill and watered by the waters of Lake Lugano. Its structure, with narrow and impervious alleys, porticoes overlooking the lake and small pedestrian squares, is typical of lakeside villages, romantic and evocative.

This – impressive – chapel on the mountain of the same name on Lake Lugano was not dedicated to one of the many people whom we honor as blessed or saints and ask for their heavenly intercession with God, but to the Son of God Jesus Christ, the Redeemer and Savior (" San Salvatore"), consecrated.
