現在の利用 湖は現在、地域レクリエーションエリアとして利用されています。広大なエリアは水泳、ダイビング、セーリング、釣り用に開放されています。残りのエリアはビオトープとして整備され、自然保護区に指定されています。また、春の雪解けによる洪水を回避し、夏と秋の乾燥時期にSauerquellenbach川に十分な水を供給するための貯水としての役割も果たしています。 総面積33ヘクタールのこの湖は、ウンターフランケン地方で最大の貯水池です。[1] 周囲は森に囲まれています。周回路は長さ4.4kmです。湖の北岸の一部には、日光浴用の芝生、砂浜、水浴用桟橋があります。 1983年と2022年には、改修工事のため湖は完全に排水されました。2022年に底部のゲートが設置されたため、改修工事の際には貯水池全体を排水する必要はなくなりました。2022年9月22日に放水口が閉じられ、雨水と雪による湖の満水は2024年春までに完了する予定です。 https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ellertsh%C3%A4user_See

Situated in a lake, Brennhausen Castle has a special charm with its two dominant Gothic residential towers. The oldest parts are said to date back to the 13th century.

The Reuthsee, idyllically located near Sulzdorf on the Lederhecke in an extensive forest area, is considered one of the largest natural landscape lakes in the Lower Franconia administrative region. What does the name Reuthsee mean? Large-scale clearing of the forests began in the 8th and 9th centuries AD. This was done either by reuten (that is, felling the trees and removing the rootstocks), by scharring (i.e., peeling off the bark to kill the trees) or by scorching (i.e., burning down the undergrowth).
