In my opinion, Halde Haus Aden 2 is more suitable for mountain bikes, given the condition and gradient of the paths - I would not recommend the climb with a trekking bike.

The bike park on the Halde Viktoria 3/4 in Lünen-Gahmen, a project that is considered unique for the eastern Ruhr area, has been officially opened. The facility, which is a joint project by various stakeholders, offers an official pump track, a dirt line and a trail run that is more than 500 meters long. Planning began in 2017, and the official opening took place in August 2020. The Käthe Kollwitz comprehensive school, which is in the immediate vicinity, has purchased mountain bikes and integrated cycling into lessons with a mountain bike group. The bike park is intended not only to attract the local bike scene, but also to support school educational offerings in the field of cycling.

The Halde Victoria 3/4 in Lünen-Gahmen was developed into a bike park that scores with a professional concept. The project includes an official pump track, a dirt line and a trail descent over 500 meters long, which is intended to inspire cyclists from the area. The topography of the heap is ideal for such systems and specialists were brought in to implement it.

On behalf of the city of Lünen, the tailings dump of the former Victoria 3/4 colliery was redesigned and redeveloped as a recreational and leisure area. Two lounge areas, the so-called resting points at the southern corners of the plateau, invite you to rest and relax with comfortable benches and loungers.
