It's amazing how many ups and downs this wooded inland dune landscape of Boomberge has. It used to be a heathland with flocks of sheep, but is now covered in conifers, oak and birch. It's a shame that the heath is no longer there. But the hills are still there and they are also good terrain for mountain bikers.

The dirt track is a very good place to enjoy your free time by bike. I think the trend towards bicycle routes is very good and useful.

The Bike-Park Diestedde is very beautiful and varied. It also offers plenty of seating, a water dispenser, a tool post for repairs, etc. It is right next to the sports field and diagonally across from Crassenstein Castle.

Also great for gravel bikes.

There are only a few hotspots for MTBs in the district of Warendorf, and this one is one of them.
