The climb from the golf course up the trail is a great climb. Some training beforehand is beneficial.

The Jakobsberg, popularly known as Leberblümchenberg, is a nature reserve with a size of 47.3 hectares in the Amshausen district of the municipality of Steinhagen (Westphalia) in the district of Gütersloh. It is listed with the number GT-015 and consists of two adjoining individual areas that are privately owned. The nature reserve is plant-geographically significant because it represents the north-western limit of the distribution area of the endangered liverwort in Europe. In addition, it is a location of unspoilt low and medium forest. When the liverworts are in bloom from mid-March, the area is a heavily frequented tourist attraction. At the same time, several species of violets bloom at the edge of the forest. A little later, large numbers of white and occasionally yellow wood anemones bloom. The cowslip blooms in April. The amusement park at Axtbach in Beelen is in the inner city area. It is located directly on the BachAuenWeg. There you can practice riding a bike or skateboard, which is a bit wavy.
