Fantastic views in all directions.

The path from the Eagle Lounge to the summit is classified as black. The first section is fairly steep, the second part is a beautiful ridge path. There are a few rope safety devices. It took us about 75 minutes at a steady, slow pace. The view from the summit is phenomenal, but there are also wonderful viewpoints along the way.

Beautiful walk, in the beginning along the fence, then it becomes more relaxed. In winter, the section after the tunnel is closed. It is doable with shoes under your shoes, but it is very dangerous on the frozen snow with those precipices.

We took the tour from the Kals mountain railway today in mid-September. The scree areas at the beginning and just before the top were challenging. The length of the route is absolutely doable and the view is truly breathtaking. It took us a little longer because we set a slow pace on the 'difficult' routes. It should be noted that you should really be sure-footed on the route and keep your nerve as some sections are really dangerous. Despite moderate visibility, this was one of the most beautiful hikes so far for us.

It is true that the mountain is easy to reach, since you can drive up to 2,000 meters in altitude! BUT!! IT IS NOT A HIKE BUT A MOUNTAIN TOUR! This is a tour at 2,500 meters in altitude with partly strong winds and rapidly changing weather! The last piece is a partly exposed rocky path that requires sure-footedness and good shoes! Therefore absolutely not an easy hiking destination for children, even if there are experienced children who can reach the summit!

The summit cross is based on a tuning fork and really looks good.

Worthwhile panoramic summit! A bit busier than other places due to the proximity to the cable cars, but not overcrowded. The way is partly crisp and not without reason rope-insured in parts. Sure-footedness and a head for heights are required. Also matching shoes.. we were out with our A\B boots, which was no problem when the weather was nice. But we met people in sneakers/street shoes who thought they could just climb up there from the Kals gondola... were then taught a better way, fortunately already on the first piece and not just where it could have been really dangerous.

A mountain with a wonderful 360 degree view! Since you can drive up to 2,000 meters in altitude by car, there is a temptation to set off without the right equipment. We are in high alpine terrain at 2,500 meters in altitude with often strong winds and rapidly changing weather. The last piece is a rocky climb where good shoes and sure-footedness are essential!
