A small, idyllic hamlet near Ansbach. According to an information sign in the center, the village has 64 inhabitants. It's somewhat secluded and not on the main road. This allows children to grow up in a rural idyll, get to know animals up close (e.g., cows), and play together outdoors. However, as the children get older, they might find it a bit quiet, as it's a very remote area. There might be one or two farmers who sell their produce directly from their farms, but for most shopping, a car is necessary. The bus schedule wasn't apparent. It can get quite cold in winter, as the hamlet lies below Elpersdorf in a small depression.

The coats of arms above the archway depict highlights of Ansbach's history. In front of the building are two sculptures by Thomas Röthel, "Horizontal Development" and a stele commemorating the Ansbach resistance. The imposing palace opposite was designed by the Swiss court architect Gabriel de Gabrieli. Ansbach's weekly market takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays on Martin Luther Square, a visit to which is highly recommended. Ansbach's old town is a great starting point for your tours. Cafés and restaurants await you in the center, along with its historic houses. If you have enough time, a visit to the Residence and its castle is worthwhile.

The town hall in Ansbach, a city in Middle Franconia in Bavaria, was built in 1531 and remodeled and expanded from 1621 to 1623 according to plans by Valentin Juncker. The town hall at Martin-Luther-Platz 1 is a protected architectural monument.

The plaque commemorates a celebration that French officers held on August 15, 1806 at the expense of Ansbach citizens. The day before, Johann Philipp Palm had been imprisoned in Ansbach. He had refused to betray the author of a political book. A week later, he was taken to Braunau, where he was executed for his steadfastness.
