An old, disused railway line through beautiful countryside. The gradient is moderate up to Mesocco. From Mesocco, until the crossing of the national road, it's steeper, but paved. From there, route 642 has some steep ramps off-road, but is always rideable.

In the summer, when there are cows, you have to stop at a myriad of wires to open and close, really annoying....otherwise it's a wonderful route.

The castle of Serravalle is a complex of ruins at the mouth of the Blenio valley. On this rock spur, the first fortifications were built in 900, but they were destroyed and rebuilt over time.

A must if you are in Ticino!!

With the mountain bike up the train and then either single trails (caution, sometimes difficult) or the descent down to the reservoir Lago Bacino di Val Malvaglia and then enjoy in front of the Blenio valley Or how we do a wonderful circular hike.

🚵‍♂️ SwitzerlandMobility's MTB route 65 "S2" leads through the middle of the ruins of the "Castello di Seravalle". The ruin can be visited freely. We saved very impressive pictures. Reserve some time for a break. 😲 ⚔ After the church there is a step about 50 cm high. With the tanked strength of the knights, however, this is not a problem. 🐴

Part of the MTB path 640, easy to drive without any further skill. Great views of the viaduct, waterfalls and tunnel trips included.

Through lonely wilderness, the path, which is well suited for MTB, runs past mountain peaks to Capanne Adula, from where the path for MTB ends.
