I've ridden this ditch a few times. It's true. It's relatively narrow, and in certain places, it's really impossible to ride without dismounting. But, the route along the ditch is simply beautiful. On the other hand, I highly recommend the "Heidenwuhre" (Heathen Wuhre). There, you can actually dismount, except for about three times, and ride over the roots for a full 6 kilometers.

Beautifully designed trail. Anyone can get through with a little care. There is also an alternative route before every major challenge. Well done, kudos to everyone involved. I liked it very much, I'll gladly take it with me again when I'm passing through.

Absolutely great place to take a break and take a breather. In the summer very nice and cool by the water and protected from the sun. Always happy again...

The trail was designed as the region's first mountain bike trail to be fun for all skill levels, and even after repeated rides, there are opportunities to improve. In the upper section, you'll find many berms and jumps. In the middle section, a black line – the Captain's Line – branches off. This line is only suitable for very experienced riders and is clearly marked. Approximately 100 meters later, the blue and black lines rejoin and lead over a naturally maintained lower section (approximately 250 meters long) to a forest road. From the forest road, you can either ride directly to Herr Lehmann's for an after-ride beer or take the signposted uphill for another lap of the Dead Sailor Trail by Herr Lehmann. Nice flowy trail that is fun ...

Mega nice trail along the Wühre. But only for skilled MTB riders because of roots and stones that demand a bit of skill. Extra caution when wet. But it's worth it. We usually take this detour with us when we are nearby.
