A beautiful section of the SWC Path between Perranporth and St. Agnes. The walk to St. Agnes is about 8km long, with no major climbs but fantastic views.

Amazing 360 degree views for very little effort

Site of Alfred Nobel's Munitions Factory. Active during WWI & WWII, mostly filling grenades and other explosives. I would recommend looking up the talking history clip on BBC Sounds. Also the site of Tungsten mining during the same time.

Looking down at the rocks below it is easy to imagine the smuggling that went on here in years gone by.

Stunning panoramic views, well worth the hike to the top. SH Burton described it beautifully in 1952; 'The view from St Agnes Beacon is breath-taking. The high moorlands, heather and gorse clad; steep valleys and bubbling streams; the bracing winds and the infinite variety of land and seascape...' Or even better, F W L Stockdale called it ‘a remarkable stupendous mountain’ back in 1824.

A beautiful spot to stop on a calm day, incredibly windy on a rough day. Plenty of choice of trails for walking or cycling. A special place to stop and admire the surroundings.

Great panoramic views from the top. More technical ascent from the coast and an easier roadway on the inland flank

Gull Rocks are very distinctive and a great back drop for any photo.

Absolutely a fantastic beach. Great for dogs and kids😎☀️🐾😊

Also a great hiking destination on the Coastal Trail.

At low tide, you can find Holywell Cave under the southern cliffs of Kelsey Head. Whilst the cave entrance from the beach does not seem very large, if you follow the steps inside, the cave soon opens up to reveal a colourful ceiling and limestone pools. Ensure you wear sturdy shoes to explore the cave and a torch is recommended. If you’re tall, watch your head!

A very long sandy beach, also suitable for surfing. Off the coast is a 69-year-old wreck, which can be seen at low tide. The beach is with its upstream twin rocks is also well known from the television series Poldark. Many of the scenes play on this highly recognizable area.

The first picture does not show the actual entrance of St Cuthbert's source. This is still about 20 m further left and is really only at low tide to reach on foot. Be sure to have a look at the sea - the tide comes faster than you think. The special feature of this cave are the color formations of the stones, probably caused by the mix of salt and fresh water.
