ミニゴルフ場の近くにある多くの小道で一周できるかなり大きな湖。

Pronounced Bynol. Not much is known of this place. Unsure whether a mid age Castle or Iron age Hillfort. Impressive though. Pics don't do any justice to the scale of the place. Go visit and you'll see it differently

A walk around the lake is always pleasant. Can be quite muddy at the top end in the winter/ when wet.

It's thought that these earthworks were originally an Iron Age hillfort before being subsequently used as a Norman motte and bailey castle. It's easy to see why you'd build here, the views are exceptional and the location is a natural promontory. The earthworks are still very much apparent, and give the hill a fascinating, lumpy characteristic.

Willow, ash and birch can all be found in the park's woodlands, with oak trees on higher ground. A fantastic park with nature trails, bird hides and family activities, this is a lovely place to walk through or simply visit. There are also good facilities, a cafe and BBQ hire.

One to avoid if it's wet, but fine when dry though with deep ruts so navigate with care.

Be very careful in the wet. 4x4 have really messed this up and make it deeply rutted with the chalk exposed. When wet it’s like a downhill toboggan run!
