A lake with a massive dam used for electricity generation. It can be reached from several points, the most convenient being via Dietro la Torre lake, starting from Pian Sulè (3 hours by road + 30 minutes on a trail).

Wonderful, challenge yourself, between the mountains, between the waterfalls, you really have the feeling of climbing the mountain, a sense of strength and determination. Getting to the top and breathing was incredible

Uja di Bellavarda is one of the most visited and well-known peaks in the Val Grande di Lanzo and in the entire Lanzo valleys. To reach the peak, which rises to 2,345 metres, the terrain does not present any particular technical difficulties other than the difference in altitude to be overcome on a path which always climbs rather steeply. The descent is a lot of fun! However, all the effort is rewarded by a unique view of Val Grande, the other peaks of the Lanzo valleys, the Gran Paradiso group and, in the distance, Monviso and the Maritime Alps chain. On the summit stands an imposing iron cross and the summit book.

Excellent panoramic point over the valley, a downhill path also starts, towards Colle San Giacomo which then becomes more technical to reconnect to the dirt road of the climb
