The Frommer is worth a stop in both summer and winter. The coffee and food are good, and the service has been "consistent" for years. Conveniently located near the cable car station between Welschenhofen and the Kölner Hütte. Also a great place to stop for trail bikers 😉

Upon request, we were also allowed to stay as non-guests in the summer.

Central starting point for hikes here in this wonderful hiking area, or also starting point (with parking) for skiing. Anyone who comes from the valley with the cable car (Welschenofen or St. Zyprian) automatically ends up here from this central place. Also beautifully landscaped.

Here is a highlight of the MTB Latemar Tour: a fantastic stretch with a wide view of the Latemar and the Catinaccio.

This excellent panoramic point can be reached in just 10 minutes' walk from the cable car arrival point. Due to its characteristic "panettone" shape, Col Rodella is a mountainous relief visible from every town in the Val di Fassa.

Not on the big pass road, but close by there are good trails that can be ridden by mountain bike.
